THE PROPOSAL
Jack proposed to Kristina on March 29th, 2023, during their spring trip to Northern Italy.
Before the proposal, they spent a few days in Verona; enjoying art and churches. Then they ventured into the mountains by train and taxi to reach Italy's largest lake: Lake Garda.
They slept in a small beach town called Riva-del-Garda and, serendipitously, found a boat that would tour them around the lake. The boat was meant for a German tourist group, but a few extra seats allowed Jack and Kristina to jump on board.
The boat arrived in small town ports, and on a pier in a town called Limone del Garda, Jack asked Kristina to marry him.
They spent the afternoon hiking up a mountain in search of a mysterious chapel and enjoyed a Michelin star restaurant's finest farm-to-table dishes.

They will return to Italy in 2025 to continue their love-affair with Italian geological wonders, archeological sites, and pizza.
